Set Up Your CRA Account

Creating a CRA My Account makes it much easier to manage your personal tax and benefit information online.

You can sign in using:

  • A CRA user ID and password, or

  • Your online banking (Sign‑In Partner)

What You Can Do in CRA My Account

  • Update or add direct deposit

  • Change your address, phone number, or name

  • Authorize representatives (e.g. Power of Attorneys, Executors, etc)

  • Add access to Trust Accounts

  • View benefits, credits, and payments

Important

You cannot let friends or family log in using your CRA credentials.
If someone needs access, they must be authorized and use Represent a Client.
